In line with the abysmal leadership style in the continent of Africa, many experts with requisite knowledge in the area of leadership have in many ways criticized African leaders for their failure to put Africa’s economy into good shape. Among these critics is an uprising star, Mr. Patrick Mawuena Klu.
Mr. Patrick Mawuena Klu is a nursing student at Pentecost University who is in his 3rd year.
Mr. Patrick, who believes that every individual has got potentials which can be developed when the individual is exposed to enlightenment, has send a strong message to African leaders.
The message reads;
“Brethren, this is what Africa needs: a call to the youth.
The greatest thing that motivates me to be a leader is not because I want fame, no! And it is not that I regard myself as I can do better than others, never.
Instead, I believe that the pace of Africa needs a generation of young ones who are value driven and have good Christian ethics, good academic qualifications, who are self-motivated to be burden bearers of others, people who are not self-centered and have the needs of their followers in their heart and be ready to solve problems and also be skillful to such an extent that they can provide godly alternatives to the problems of our economy.
All the sectors of our economy have to be engulfed by leaders who are not corrupt but have been tested and approved with higher integrity, who are ready to cause change and to bring light to every sphere of our African economy that has been dark for ages.
The level of embarrassment receive from our parliament houses have proven the incompetency of people who we have elected and authorized to take decisions on our behalf.
The youth need to arise, and fight for justice and clear the mess of corrupt leaders in the continent. It is not later that we have to do this but if it must be done it must be done now, and we must spearhead the call for transformation.
It is my utmost desire that a generation of critical thinkers, problem solvers, and bedding bears, people who will wish for the transformation of Africa alone but not the satisfaction of their stomach and the families will arise and cause the change and transformation in the African economies.
It is not enough going to church, learning to the Bible, listening to sermons and receiving impactations no, all that we learn must be transferred into the systems of the country, our virtues as Christians should be the bases for our judgments, and the alternatives we use to soft problems must be Godly.
If we do All these our respective countries and the continent of Africa will be transformed to a certain level that the world will come out around to see what exactly has caused the change. The Youths must arise”
What we need as a country to make a change in our lives is an true and honest heart. We’ve learnt to be liers and we lie in all life spheres. I don’t want to mention God here because He made us all equal but most African are inherent dishonest people. We need a clean heart.
